Filipino Tenors Hold
Cultural Performance in Macau

19 May 2011 - The Philippine
Consulate General in Macau reported that five young Filipino
classical/pop tenors The Angelos, dubbed as Asia's answer
to world famous Il Divo, were once again invited to perform
before members of Macau Pensioners Association (APOMAC) during
their anniversary celebration and gala dinner.
The performance was held
at the conventional center at the Macau Fisherman's Wharf
last May 13.
Their repertoire which wowed
the estimated audience of 1,500 people included Volare, Amigos
Para Silmpre, Music of the Night, Impossible Dream, This is
the moment, Love changes everything, I Believe in You, Senza
Catene and Conte Partiro (Time to Say Goodbye).
The popular and well-traveled
singers had a number of successful performances overseas including
performance at the 77th birthday concert for former U.S. President
Jimmy Carter, concert of Lani Misalucha in Las Vegas, back-to-back
concerts with world-renowned pianist David Osborne, concert
in the river Rock Show Theater in Vancouver, Canada and many
others.
George Sison-Tagle, a former
member of Philippine Opera Company, founded the Angelos in
2007 with members of multi-talented and multi-awarded artists.
He also co-owns a music and art school where he teaches voice
lessons and art classes. END
